It's our Country, take a stand, break-up
Starting January 3rd, 2027, the congressional office of the 1st District will be accessible to all Tennesseans. It is more than needing our constituents, I want your engagement in the political process. By now, you should have recognized there is something missing from this appeal that you cannot avoid on a partisan candidate's site. There is no donate button. It is time to take money out of politics. The runoff for Texas' Senate candidate exceeded $100,000,000 for two candidates that are in the same party. "I am tired of this, aren't you?"
In addition to getting the money out of politics, we must electing leaders that do not want to be career politicians in one office and don't serve longer than their capacity to do so. It is time for term limits to be enacted and to set maximum age limits on national offices. If someone desires to serve more than the limit for the office, then let them compete for it. Start in the House. If a true leader emerges, then it will not be difficult for them to convince their state they are ready to be their Senator. When that limit is reached, they should be ready to convince the nation they are ready to be a Vice President or possibly a President. There is a reason we have a two term limit on the two highest offices.
No one should be serving in a national office beyond the age of 75. After two oldest Presidents have consecutively held the office, I don't feel that any more explanation is needed.

We need to enter into real dialogs on these issues. Read this as 'share your thoughts'.
It is time for executive orders to end. Executive orders are no different than edicts or proclamations from a king and allow for fringe legislation. Legislation is to be conducted by the legislative branch. This is where debate occurs.
Immigration - There are more people in the world that share the American dream, condemn socialist, communist and fascist regimes and embrace self governance than Americans. We can welcome them and at the same time deny access to those looking to take advantage of America's hospitality and prosperity.
Healthcare - If the Affordable Care Act isn't what America needs, then what is it? I can assure you that a $1000 deposit into an HSA in a high deductible insurance plan is not a solution. Every American should have access to insurance with affordable monthly premiums.
The Supreme Court is 0 for 2 on abortion. The pendulum has again swung too far. Returning the decision making to the states has created a hodge podge of hastily crafted state laws that take healthcare professionals and mothers out of the process. We need to have a national dialogue to determine how to correct what the Supreme Court got wrong.
Second amendment - It's the law of the land. It is time to enforce the laws around responsible ownership.
Fourteenth amendment - Again, its the law of the land.
Unwarranted surveillance of Americans - When did we agree that politicians, government agencies and police forces have a right to monitor our movements and our communications?
Trespassing and destruction of property is a crime. Punishing it isn't weaponization of the Department of Justice.
Alternative methods of treatment for chronic symptoms - Once again, we need to seek the science of treatments outside of the offerings of pharmaceutical companies.
Restore the investments in research - Refusing to adhere to the science of the generation is akin to ignoring the prophets in the Old Testament.
